This is the eighth year the Historic Monument Merchants Assocation (HMMA) is bringing live music to downtown Monument. Limbach Park comes alive Wednesdays during June and July. The free Summer Concert Series kicks off June 24. All concerts are from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy food, fun and great music for the whole family! The 2009 Concert Series schedule is as follows: Wednesday, June 24 Bluegrass favorites Palmer Divide with a surprise performance from a very special guest open the 2009 concert season Wednesday, July 1 Blues artist Russ Chapman Wednesday, July 8 Blues artist Jim Adam Wednesday, July 15 Opener Rick Stahl followed by folk band, the Mitguards Wednesday, July 22 Zen Cowboy Chuck Pyle Wednesday, July 29 Local favorites, and rhythm and blues performers, Sweet Revenge end the 2009 concert season |
