Christmas Tree Lighting at Limbach Park

Saturday, December 5—a day full of holiday activities—
from 10:00am to 2:00pm


The 2009 Small Christmas events are follows:

  • Santa and Mrs. Claus at Limbach Park bandshell between10am and noon (weather permitting, otherwise in the Chapala Bldg.)
  • Children’s Holiday Crafts will be at Town Hall from 10am to 1pm
  • Christmas Open House with warm, spiced Gluwhein, hot cider, cookies and Sparkling Wine Tasting at Second Street Art Market and Wine Bar—all decorations 25 % off Saturday only
  • Local artists Joseph Bohler and Al Hawkins will be autographing their art; and featuring Thad Handrick’s pottery at Bella Art & Frame
  • There will be a Holiday Open House at Nationwide Floowing & Design Center and Schmallen Home Organization & Window Coverings
  • Hayrides leaving from Gallery Center throughout the day
  • Make a free ornament at Toys 4 Fun from 10am to 2pm. Ages five and up, while supplies last
  • At 2-Watts Creative kids can make Christmas ornaments (FREE!) plus 15% off custom hand or footprints on ceramic pieces
  • Bella Casa, Margo’s on the Alley, and Prickly Pear are each hosting a Christmas Open House including refreshments
  • Bella Vi will have a Holiday Open House
  • Trunk Show featuring Katie Brassell, a Colorado artist, at Santa Fe Trail Jewelry
  • Several authors will be signing their books at Covered Treasures from 10:30–3:30pm. Call or stop by for a complete listing and schedule. ALL COOKBOOKS 20% off Saturday only!
  • Holiday Open House and cookie walk at Activecare Therapeutics, Active Tails Therapy and Chapala Building East
  • Gift bags for kids, homemade cookies and hot chocolate at Shani’s Café. Browse our new collection of Shani’s spring flower paintings, handcrafted and hand-painted ornaments.
  • Holiday Fantasies is serving refreshments and featuring their Christmas villages
  • Free Christmas Cookie Decorating—cookies in various Christmas shapes, from 11am to 2pm at High Country Home & Garden
  • Miniature donkeys at Monumental Toys and Miniatures, 10am to 2pm
  • Expectations Spa and Salon will have free face painting and a drawing for a gift
  • Holiday Open House at Wisdom Tea House
  • Hot Buttered Rum and hot chocolate at La Casa Fiesta
  • Reindeer at Front Street Square through the day
  • The Love Shop wants you to see new trends in holiday decor plus special savings and treats
  • Heart and Hand/The Bead Corner invites you to make a FREE holly wreath bracelet for yourself or as a gift. Also, see wonderful jewelry created by local youth.
  • Purple Mountain Jewelry will be having holiday refreshments and a Christmas storyteller for the kids
  • Santa’s Holiday Corner at Hangers. Kids eight and under can pick one FREE gift for a family member. Staff will help make selections, bag, and tag. While supplies last. Cookies for chaperones.
